Save your prompts to reuse with Rolly
Save the prompts you send Rolly often, with blanks for what changes, such as the client or the month. Fill in the blanks and send.
Before you start
Steps
In the sidebar, click Prompts under Rolly. The page opens on Templates.
Click a group, such as Plan the calendar or Read the numbers, or search for what you want in Search prompts.
Click a template, such as Fill next week, to open it and read the full prompt.
Click Save a copy. You'll see "Saved to your prompts", and the template now says In your prompts.
Click the Saved tab. Your copy is under Your prompts.
To write your own, click New.
Under Name, type a short name, such as "Monthly recap".
Under Prompt, type what you want Rolly to do. Put each part that changes between double braces, such as "Write a {{month}} recap for {{client}}."
Click Save. You'll see "Prompt saved", and the parts in braces show as tags under your prompt.
Click your prompt to use it. Fill in each blank, then click Use.
Rolly opens with your prompt in the box. Change anything you want, then press Enter to send it.
Using a prompt from inside the chat
You don't need to leave the chat to use a prompt. Click the prompt button in the bottom corner of Rolly's box, labelled Use a prompt, and pick one of your saved prompts or a template. It goes into the box the same way.
Using a template without saving it
Open a template on the Templates tab, fill in any blanks it shows, and click Use in chat. The template goes into Rolly's box without being saved to your prompts.
Some templates need a file or a link
A template that needs something from you says so on its row, such as Attach a file with it or Paste a link with it. Add the file with the paperclip, or paste the link into your message, before you send it.
Who sees the prompts you save
Your saved prompts belong to the brand, so everyone on your brand's team sees them under Saved and can use them. Anyone on your brand's team except a Viewer can also delete them.
Deleting a prompt you saved
On the Saved tab, click the bin icon on the prompt's row. The prompt is deleted straight away, for everyone on your brand.
If you can't save your prompt, it's likely one of these reasons
"Give the prompt a name" You left Name empty. Type a short name and click Save.
"Write the prompt" You left Prompt empty. Type what you want Rolly to do and click Save.
"Could not save prompt" The prompt didn't reach SocioRolla. Check your connection and click Save again.
