Before you start

Steps

  1. Click Rolly at the top of any page and ask Rolly to remember something, such as "Remember that we never post on Sundays." Then press Enter.

  2. A line in the chat says Remembered and the name of what Rolly saved. Click the line to read it.

  3. In the sidebar, click Memory & usage under Rolly.

  4. Under What Rolly remembers, each fact shows its name, what Rolly saved and the day it was learned. A label says if the fact is about the brand or just about you, the user.

  5. To delete a fact, click the bin icon on its row. You'll see "Forgotten", and Rolly stops using it from your next message.

How memory differs from your Knowledge base

Your Knowledge base is your brand profile: what you do, who you sell to and how you sound. Memory is a short list of facts Rolly picks up while you chat, such as a posting rule or a client's preference. Teach Rolly your brand voice shows how to fill in your Knowledge base.

Who sees what Rolly remembers

Facts about the brand are shared with everyone on your brand's team, and Rolly uses them in their chats too. Facts about you are only used in your own chats, and only you see them in the list.

When the list is full

Rolly keeps up to 50 facts per brand, and the count shows at the top of the list, such as 12 / 50. When it's full and Rolly learns something new, the fact Rolly used least recently is removed to make room.

If Rolly doesn't remember or you can't delete a fact, it's likely one of these reasons

Rolly said it would remember, but nothing shows under What Rolly remembers. You asked on Quick, which can only look things up. Ask again on Standard or Deep, and look for the Remembered line in the chat.

"You do not have permission to delete memories." Your role on the team is Viewer. Ask your workspace's owner or an admin to delete it, or to change your role to Editor.

"Could not delete that memory" The change didn't reach SocioRolla. Check your connection and click the bin icon again.

The fact keeps coming back. You said it again in a chat, so Rolly saved it again. Tell Rolly in the chat that it's no longer true, then delete it from the list.
