Steps

  1. Click Templates in the sidebar. It opens on the Agreements tab.

  2. Click Upload agreement and choose your own contract as a PDF.

  3. The agreement opens in setup. Under the preview, click the page where the client signs.

  4. Under Fields on this file, click Signature, then click the spot on the page where the client signs. Drag a field to move it, or drag its corner to resize it.

  5. Add a Date field the same way. Text adds a box the client types into, such as a company number, with a label you choose.

  6. Click Save. Once a client signs a version, its fields are fixed, and replacing the file makes a new version for new clients.

  7. Go back to Templates and open Welcome packets.

  8. Under Add a welcome packet, type a Name. Then click Upload a PDF (up to 25 MB), or paste a link to a packet you already host, such as a Google Doc.

  9. Click Add packet. The table shows each packet's source and the onboarding flows that use it.

  10. Open Intake forms to see the questionnaires an onboarding flow can send. New opens the form builder, with short and long answers, choices, links, dates, file uploads and more.

Agreements

The client signs in their onboarding hub and confirms with a 6-digit code sent to their email. Both of you then get the signed PDF with its signing record. The wording of your PDF is never changed.

Once a client has signed a version, its fields are fixed. Replace file makes a new version for clients you send it to from then on, and Copy fields from version reuses the layout you placed before. An agreement that has been used can be archived but not deleted.

Welcome packets

A packet is a PDF of up to 25 MB or a link to one you already host. A packet an onboarding flow uses can't be deleted until you take it out of that flow.

Intake forms

The built-in Full brand intake has 24 questions. Build a shorter one with New, and pick it in an onboarding flow's intake step.
