### How the allowance works

The allowance belongs to your whole workspace, so everyone on your team uses the same one. It starts again on the first of every month, and what's left over doesn't carry into the next month. Credits you buy are used after your allowance runs out, and they don't expire. Max includes twice the monthly allowance of Pro.

### What uses the most of it

Each message to Rolly uses some of the allowance. **Deep** uses the most, so pick **Quick** for looking things up and **Standard** for everyday work. Long chats use more with each new message, because Rolly reads the whole chat again, so start a new chat when you change topic.

### When you're close to the limit

At 80%, Rolly shows "You have used 80% of your monthly AI allowance." Nothing changes yet, and Rolly keeps working until the allowance runs out.

### If you're not the workspace's owner or an admin

You can see how much is used under **Memory & usage**, but you can't buy more. Click **Get in touch** to email us, or ask your workspace's owner to top it up.

### If your AI features stopped working, it's likely one of these reasons

**"You have used your monthly AI allowance for November 2026. AI features are paused until next month."** Your workspace used its whole allowance. The owner or an admin can buy more on the **AI usage** page, or the allowance starts again next month.

**"This workspace has no AI allowance for November 2026."** Your workspace is on a plan without AI. Move to the Pro or Max plan.

**"AI features are switched off for this workspace. Get in touch with us to turn them back on."** AI was turned off for your workspace on our side. Email us to turn it back on.

**"Top-ups are available on plans that include AI."** Your workspace is on the Free or Essential plan, so there's no allowance to top up. Move to the Pro or Max plan.
