# Reply to Threads mentions

See who tagged your Threads account and answer from the inbox.

## Steps

1. Open **Inbox** and click **Mentions**. It lists public Threads posts that mention your account, fetched live from Threads.

2. Click a mention. The post opens on the right, with a link to it on Threads.

3. Click **Rolly** to put a draft in the box, then edit it. Nothing is sent until you press send.

4. Click the send arrow. The reply is posted on Threads and shown under the mention.

### Where mentions come from

Mentions are public Threads posts that tag your Threads account, and they are fetched live from Threads each time you open the tab. Only Threads has this tab.

### If the list shows an error

The error text says when Threads hasn't granted the mentions permission to the connection yet. Until it does, the tab can't list them.
