# Invite a teammate Add someone to your workspace and choose which brands they can work on. 3 min read. Updated 16 Oct 2026. Essential, Pro and Max only. ## Before you start - [Create your first brand](https://sociorolla.com/help/getting-started/create-brand) ## Steps 1. Click **Workspace settings**. Pick a **Role**. New invites start as **Editor**, who creates, edits and schedules content on the brands you give them. An **Admin** manages the whole workspace and sees every brand, and a **Viewer** can look but not change anything. ![Step 4: Pick a role. For an Editor or Viewer, untick **Access to all brands** to limit them to some brands, then tick the ones they should work on. Tick each brand they should see. Click **Send invite**. The invite shows as **Pending** under **Members** until they accept. A pending invite holds a seat until it is accepted or revoked. When every seat is taken, the invite stops with a message saying how many seats your plan covers, and you can add seats in **Workspace settings** under **Billing**. The Free plan is for one person, so inviting a teammate needs a paid plan. ### Who can invite Only the workspace owner and admins can send invites. ### What your teammate does They click **Accept invitation** in the email, then sign in or sign up with the address you invited. The link works for 14 days. If it runs out, click **Resend** next to their name to send a new one. ### Giving access to one brand Inside a brand, **Invite teammates** in your menu opens **Add people**.
